I am a native New Yorker and have worked in residential real estate since 2001. My role is to counsel, advise and guide clients through buying, selling and leasing residential real estate. I aim to bring a deeply informed perspective regarding to all aspects of a real estate search and associated transactions, and to help my clients avoid - and solve - problems. Negotiating deals is one of my favorite thing in life, and I am trained specifically in real estate negotiations as a Certified Negotiation Expert by the Real Estate Negotiation Institute.
I grew up on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, and attended The Nightingale-Bamford School. Since graduating from Brown University, I have focused my entire 20-year career on New York City real estate. I also have a Master of Science in Real Estate Development from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation.
Previous experience includes:
My extensive Project Management experience to keep transactions moving smoothly. I am also an experienced negotiator (and this is my favorite part of the process!), and am a true problem-solver by nature, training and experience.
I listen carefully to my client's real estate goals, and I think they appreciate that I always share my honest opinion. After seeing several apartments with me in person, two buyers purchased apartments based on my assessments - before seeing them in person! Years later, they are both still the happy owners of those apartments.
I started my own firm in January 2018. I love the independence to pursue my client’s best interests. I am a member of the Real Estate Board of New York, and of the Hudson Gateway Association of Realtors.
I am a contributing member of the Forbes Real Estate Council. I am part of the Patient and Family Advisory Council for Quality at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, to which I donate portion of each of my commission checks.
